About Claudia
I really do love all things food. Everything from eating to food styling, food television, recipe development, personal development through food, consulting on menus, new restaurants? I can talk and do the walk with food and I love it!
Claudia Bianchi has made her career about redefining the food industry. She’s a hyper detail-focused food stylist and also pulls teams together as a culinary producer/director for food television shows and commercials including; Chopped and Wall Of Chefs. A formally trained chef with a background in design and photography, she studied design at Wimbledon School of Art, England, commercial photography at Sheridan College, and chef training at George Brown College. Claudia has worked in a few Toronto restaurants and keeps close ties to this industry as well.
Claudia and her team have supported celebrity chefs such as Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White. All the while developing and consulting on recipes for corporations and food styling for advertising campaigns, magazines, packaging, cookbooks and commercials. Celebrating her legacy, Claudia was presented with the prestigious Ontario Hostelry Institute Gold Award for her contributions as a Stylist, Producer and Director.
Claudia is also focused on a shared vision, with chef-husband Justin Cournoyer. Together they operate the award winning Actinolite Restaurant in Toronto’s west-end. Claudia continues to work behind the scenes, enabling the creation of sustainable, nourishing Canadian food at their home, restaurant and in the studio.
